Q:Why do you call yourself Flex McCool? Is this like an RP?

Flex McCool isn’t my real name but I use it for 2 reasons:

1) It’s my nickname in real life.

2) It gives me a sense of identity without giving away my legal name )(which is always a bad idea) but since I go by that name in real life anyway I’m really not pretending to be somebody else.

As for how I got the nickname….well, I’m freakishly flexible so thus I was given the name “Flex”. The McCool just got stuck in there at some point and I don’t even know how that happened exactly except that it had to do with Facebook.

Q:Any reason you chose the name Echofour Studios?

Buckle your seatbelt because this is going to be a long ride….

When I was in middle school I predicted that with the growing use of the internet, usernames would no longer be optional so I devised one. Back at that time I was a HUGE Star Wars fan so I decided to come up with a username based off Star Wars. It was my perception at the time that usernames were always a word with a number after it. I picked the number “4” then I pointed at a random word on a random page in one of the books in my Star Wars collection. The word was “Echo” as in “Echo Base” from the Battle of Hoth. So I called myself “Echo4”. Eventually “Echo4” evolved into “Echofour”. Also, I realized that it did have an actual Star Wars meaning even though I didn’t know it.
